A short video showing the "corona wind" or "ion wind" generated by high voltage. The terminals of a 15,000 volt transformer are connected to an adjustable gap, and the gap is set just wide enough that an arc can't pass. But watch what happens to the candle when I switch on the transformers. Notice the sparking as an arc tries to connect.

This is me, doing what I do best...playing with electricity! This is 15,000 volts at 60 milliamps (900 Watts) from a set of two neon transformers connected in parallel.

This is another video of my Jacob's Ladder. I wanted to show what it looks like up close. It's a small ladder I built a long time ago and I have it WAY overpowered here. I have it connected to two 15kv neon transformers. This is a total of 15,000 volts at 60 milliamps.
