We took our daughter to the playroom to discover what she could and couldn't do. Her referral information appeared to be pretty far off - considering she was saying words on her own (in the video she says "Wah too", which is Mandarin baby talk for "mine") and not just imitating words as the referral stated. Also, her fine motor skills were excellent... not pointed out in her referral.

Here we are having fun with Kenzie on Father's day. Her personality is in full bloom on this day. Just too funny and cute. You also get to hear our banter... I am my usual sweet self (read that as "bitchy") and Roy just ignores it or makes fun of me. It's the only way we could have stayed married for so long... he never takes anything I do seriously.

Doing the Dishes

Teaching children responsibility and helping them mature and become part of a family. Kenzie loves to "do dishes" - this is her fifth time since she began to do this in 2006... so it's not a regular thing. But she feels like she's helping her Memaw. She feels pride and accomplishment.
